TemplateUnloaderTemplate is a template file which allows developers to install new templates without having to reboot the system (which users need to do).
To use, simply place the TemplateUnloaderTemplate file in the Extensions folder, then reboot your machine. Open a personal directory, and select New Template Unloader from the Directories menu. You can leave the template unloader in the personal directory, or you can drag it out to the desktop—whichever you find most convenient.
Now, any time you want to change templates, simply double-clock on the template unloader record. It will close any windows which rely on templates and purge the in-memory copies of all templates. You can then trash and/or add templates to the Extensions folder. The next time you do something which requires a template (like opening a personal directory or a record), all templates will be reloaded. You can do this as many times as you like during the course of developing a template.
